The Upper Delaware Conservation District is pleased to announce available funding to offer technical and financial assistance to farms for the implementation of the BMPs identified in their AWMP. Farms within Hunterdon, Morris, Somerset, Sussex and Warren Counties are eligible.
The funding will specifically focus on the following BMPs:1. erosion and sediment control2. nutrient management3. livestock barnyard, manure, and waste management4. livestock grazing management
Through this grant the SCD intends to offer a 75% cost-share of actual expenses to producers for the completion of BMPs. Producers will contribute 25% cost-share towards the instillation of these BMPs in the form of monetary contributions and “in kind” services such as labor and equipment use.
